Search Engine Highlights
  Always make your site complete include metatags, validate your links, ensure interlinking of your site.
   Submit your site regularly to the major engines (approx. every two months), and after a major update.
   If you plan to change your site and a page is listed on several engines, do not delete the page and URL  create a new page using the already listed URL.
  To get listed the first time allow sufficient time for the search engine to list your site (Up to six months).

Using the Search Engines
  This should be a no brainer for the majority of entrepeneurs, to be LISTED, however it really isn't  as easy as it seems. If you intend to be listed on every engine, you will be submitting your site for the  next millenium.
   Also, did you know big business has moved into the search engine arena with bidding on position. Kind of defeats meta tags, but never leave them out. Most engines still use them and even the major pay for position search engines still allow free listings.
